The one thing that was said was that if one is from the south, they know all this. i am not from the south but the west coast and i know. It has nothing to do with region as much as it has to do with all of us knowing in our guts what racism is, how deeply ingrained the ideas and expectations we have about this group or that are. After a lifetime we know some bull when we see it. That was spot on, i think.
