I have a question. On episode 7 after carlos got cut, they were interviewing him and this song was playing in the background, it sounded like Coldplay, im not sure though. I think the lyrics where something like "the sun breaks the darkness"....or something like that. Does anyone know the name of that song? The artist? Anything? Please email me @ eavila_81@yahoo.com. Thanx!!!

You're right about the attempts being ineffectual, assuming the voice over at the end (don't remember who was being interviewed) about the elimination shifting the dynamic in the house was smoke and mirrors. Signs sure point to yes.

And you're also right about it not being that interesting. I won't lie - I'm totally curious to see what's really going down with Laurie Ann next week. But as soon as my boy Michael gets cut, I think I'm done.

I completely agree with you here about Diddy's manipulative attempts to create tension. What I find so interesting is that so far it isn't working. It seems the men are unified *against* Diddy in an interesting way.

I'm curious about how this will play out, how the show will manufacture the tension and aggression and hostility it thinks it needs. At the same time, I worry that the show may not be interesting enough to sustain my viewing!

I'm going to forgo my usual academic tone and say that Diddy is a manipulative fuck and I'm a tad ashamed that I watch this shit.

I don't believe for a second that he "just couldn't decide" who to send home 'cause they were all "so good." That shit was planned from moment one to foment tension and conflict. He spent the time deciding who was going to get the "responsibility" of sending their peers home. Brilliant move from a reality tv story telling perspective. Yet totally lacking in humanity. Not that I expect anything less from this modern day Sammy Glick.

If I wasn't so attached to Big Mike, this shit would be coming off the tivo.
